How a Morning Routine Can Transform Your Life #GoalsAchieved


Do you ever notice how much the way you start your morning can affect your whole day? Do you typically jump out of bed with energy, or do you hit the snooze but with dread?


It might be time to consider your morning routine - and how it can help you reach your goals.

One of the common habits of successful people is waking up with intention, and taking time in the morning to set the tone for their day. What have you got to lose by trying it out for yourself?


Set your alarm early tomorrow, and instead of hitting snooze or checking your phone, take a few minutes to get present. Notice the way the light filters into the room, take a few deep, mindful breaths, do a few energizing stretches, and consider that today is a brand new day - and anything can happen! Now move into a few of these tried and true morning habits to start your day off right:

  • Get moving - stretch, go for a walk or run, take a morning fitness class, get your blood pumping and your energy up!

  • Read or listen to a podcast - choose something personal development-related, something motivating, inspiring, something designed to help you grow!

  • Breathe deeply - spend a few minutes practicing deep, mindful breathing to center yourself before you conquer your day!

  • Try journaling - write down your goals, progress, or a gratitude list, whatever comes to mind or inspires you!

  • Power up - with a healthy, protein-packed (and unprocessed) breakfast!

  • Spread joy - connect with someone you love, say something uplifting to them, infuse their day and yours with a dose of positivity!

  • Be mindful - turn off electronics and focus on sipping your morning cup of coffee or tea, savor each bite of your nutritious breakfast, feel the ground beneath your feet as you prepare for your day.

  • Get positive - instead of worrying about everything that could go wrong, open yourself up to the possibility of things going RIGHT! And with you tending to your morning routine, and engaging in self-care including fitness, nutrition, and your mindset, you are taking the steps to set yourself up for SUCCESS.

  • Be intentional - Not everyday will be the best day, but as the saying goes, life is 10% what happens to us, and 90% what we do. Believe in yourself, your ability to succeed, to reach your goals, to become the best version of yourself.
